Beautiful nature. However the children playing on the playground were throwing sticks- I did not appreciate this and would like to see the behavior of these kids fixed.
Updated playground equipment. There are also a couple pavilions for get togethers or to get out of the sun. The best part in my opinion is the trails for hiking or biking. Check our Peoria Area Mountain Bike Association for details on the trail system.
A nice place to go for a hike or bike ride. There are several trails here with varying lengths that are in generally good condition (they are usually fairly muddy following rain). There are also numerous sports fields and a great cross country course.
We had a great time hiking with our dog, the trails were very well marked and maintained
